Regnum Christi lives out her mission in a special way through the Mission Youth organization.

Mission Youth – engaging young people, adults, and families – exists to spread Christ’s love through missions in the US and abroad serving communities in their specific needs.

Encountering Christ, others, and ourselves transforms and empowers us and all we serve.

HOLY WEEK MISSIONS 2025

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA

    • April 16 (Holy Wednesday) to April 20 (Easter Sunday)

    • Arrival by 6pm on Wednesday, Departure after 9:30am Easter Sunday Mass

    • General plan of activities:

      • Wednesday: Arrival and welcome activities at the mission residence

      • Thursday: Homeless outreach with New Orleans Mission Organization; Mass of the Lord’s Supper at St Louis Cathedral; Operation Adoration after Evening Mass at the Cathedral

      • Friday: Live Stations of the Cross and Church Walk; Celebration of the Passion at the Cathedral (3pm)

      • Saturday: Visiting the homebound; Visiting Lakelawn cemetery; Easter Vigil at the Cathedral; Closing activities at the mission residence

      • Sunday: Pack up and clean up; Easter Sunday mass

    • All boys and girls ages 15-21 are invited to participate.

    • Anyone above 21 years old who would like to participate or serve as a chaperone should contact any of the staff members (info below) to see about availability.

    • Families and youth who would like to come for the day must contact any of the staff members as well (except for the church walk on Good Friday which is an open public event).

    • We will have a team of chaperones present at all times to accompany the youth during the mission. They are all certified and approved as volunteers with their corresponding completed safe environment training.

    • The cost is $170 per person. Upon registering one would need to pay $100 as a downpayment and complete the payment by April 9.

    • Discounts and scholarships are available on a case by case basis. Please contact the staff to inquire.

    • We will be residing in the city with designated areas for girls and boys (separate). We are currently confirming the exact housing arrangements and location as we are considering different options for this year’s mission. We will be updating the information about this as soon as we confirm the residence location.
